Job SummaryThe selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care as a GI Hospitalist at Stony Brook University Hospital, a 603-bed hospital and the only tertiary care center in Suffolk County, Long Island.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient GI consult services to patients at Stony Brook University Hospital.
- Work collaboratively with gastroenterology fellows and advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Participate in educational activities and contribute to the development of the GI Division.
- Meet the qualifications and requirements for the position.
- MD (or foreign equivalent) degree.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
- Experience in clinical care and teaching.
- Skilled in a variety of endoscopic procedures.
- Experience in the gastroenterological care of patients admitted to the hospital.
