Housekeeper - Full-Time Position

Job Summary
This position provides a wide range of cleaning services and facilities maintenance duties to keep our facilities clean and orderly. The Housekeeper will work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain hallways, stairways, resident rooms, and offices, as well as food preparation and break areas.
- Dust and sanitize surfaces, and restock supplies as needed.
- Remove and transport trash to designated disposal areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and solutions to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized cart and storage areas.
- May assist with laundry and linen removal, and may be cross-trained in janitorial and laundry duties.
- Replenish guest supplies and amenities as needed.
- May scrub, strip, extract, wax, and buff floors using appropriate equipment.
- May change light bulbs and perform light facility maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 6 months of experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and processes.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and callouts as needed.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
This position is located in an assisted living setting, with occasional exposure to moderate weather conditions. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and may be required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
