Role Summary

As an Investment Consultant at PNC, you will play a pivotal role in our client engagement strategy. This position involves working closely with clients to help them achieve their financial aspirations, including savings, investment, and retirement objectives. You will be part of a dynamic team that emphasizes a comprehensive and strategic approach to financial planning, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned in their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultation on investment and insurance solutions, while developing tailored financial plans for clients. Manage and grow a portfolio of investment and insurance accounts, ensuring a high-quality client experience through effective sales and service management.
  • Build and nurture client relationships through proactive business development and networking efforts. Enhance client loyalty and increase share of wallet by delivering exceptional service and applying in-depth product knowledge to address client needs.
  • Design and implement customized investment and insurance strategies. Assess client financial situations to recommend suitable products and establish comprehensive financial plans. Regularly review and adjust these plans to align with changing client needs.
  • Educate and mentor branch staff and internal partners to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities. Collaborate with branch leadership to drive investment initiatives and foster a culture of urgency and accountability.
  • Engage in regular communication with branch management and internal partners to review performance metrics and manage client pipelines effectively. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

  • Risk Management - Identify and manage risks associated with financial activities, ensuring adherence to PNC's risk management framework.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Preferred Skills: Client Prospecting, Relationship Management, Financial Analysis, Public Speaking, and Sales.
  • Experience: A university degree with less than one year of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Licenses: Required FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63, 65) licenses, along with Life and Health Insurance certifications.
