This includes:
  • Home modification assessments
  • Wheelchair assessments
  • Early Intervention (0-3 years old)
  • School District (work a minimum of 2 days at the schools)
  • Sensory Integration consultations

Is comfortable with going into families' homes
Is comfortable working with the special needs population from adults to school aged children.
Willing to travel to client's home or the clinic
Consistently figures out how to produce the desired outcome, even if it involves researching and learning new skills.
Has the ability to build therapeutic relationships and maintain professionalism when encountering challenges
Desires to have a long-term work family and work home in a warm supportive environment

Qualifications:
  • Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
