Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant with All Medical Personnel, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and escorting patients, taking medical histories, measuring and recording vital signs, and assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
• Take accurate medical histories, vital signs, and other necessary information to support patient care.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Perform initial-response screening, following approved protocols and guidelines.
• Document patient care and treatment in the electronic health record (EHR), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and administer medications, immunizations, and other treatments as ordered by physicians, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Enter medication, radiology, and lab orders into the EHR for provider sign-off.
• Discharge patients, providing after-visit instructions and support as needed.

Requirements:

• Completion of a clinical externship or graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) Medical Assistant Program.
• Minimum of one year of continuous work as a Medical Assistant with verifiable clinical experience or graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
