Description

Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Computer Systems Analyst to support the development and application of high-assurance computer security systems hardware and software. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of Department of Defense information assurance (IA) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and application of high-assurance computer security systems hardware and software
  • Contribute to the development of Department of Defense information assurance (IA) systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-assurance systems and products
  • Document standard development and engineering processes, including operational process guides, application deployment guides, user manuals, developer onboarding guides, and training documents
  • Experience with object-oriented software specification languages, procedures, and practices, and their application towards high assurance systems and products
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline, and 5 years of relevant experience in systems analysis, or high school diploma and 10 years of directly relevant experience in computer systems
  • DoD SECRET clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience with Ansible, including proficiency creating and using Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Modules to automate IT tasks, configure infrastructure, and manage applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline, and three (3) or more years of relevant experience, or PhD in computer science or related discipline
  • Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) certification
  • Experience in the analysis of unknown binary program behavior using static and dynamic techniques
  • Experience in two or more of the following development languages: C, C, Java, Python, Linux Scripting, PowerShell, Ruby, PHP, VBS, SQL, or Assembly
