Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Civil Construction Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you'll be responsible for conducting observations, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with construction drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and document observations of construction progress for civil projects, including roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines.
  • Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed.
  • Collaborate with other field representatives and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts.
  • Serve as the most senior inspector on projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical school or associate degree in a related field.
  • Relevant industry certification.
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules.
  • Local candidate preferred.
