Position Overview:
We are in search of an experienced tax professional to join our local accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complex tax returns for various entities including S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates, trusts, and gifts with minimal oversight.
  • Review and prepare payroll and sales/use tax returns on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Reconcile financial statements, including bank accounts and profit/loss statements.
  • Collaborate with senior staff on large client engagements, identifying issues, analyzing tax laws, and developing optimal strategies for clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA certification or eligibility.
  • Proficient in researching Federal, State, and Local tax codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with accounting software; experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and clients.
