Job Summary

A leading CPA firm is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for preparing complex tax returns, reconciling bank accounts, and maintaining quality client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of complicated tax returns (S-corp, C-corp, Partnership, Individual, Estate, Trust, Gift, etc...) with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare or review payroll and sales/use tax returns, monthly or quarterly.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.
  • Participate with more experienced personnel in coordinating large client engagements, identification of problems, tax law and computer model analysis and helping clients determine optimal strategies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Have CPA or be CPA eligible.
  • Knowledge of and have ability to research Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations.
  • Knowledge of basic software packages. Experience with UltraTax & Quickbooks a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in working with staff and clients.
