KLINGSPOR Abrasives Seeks Maintenance Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join our team at KLINGSPOR Abrasives, Inc. in Hickory, NC.

The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This full-time position involves maintaining and repairing production machinery, facilities, and office equipment as required.

You will work collaboratively with an experienced team of maintenance technicians to develop your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair production machinery, facilities, and office equipment.
  • Work with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  • Train and develop minor maintenance skills of machine operators.
  • Promote a safe work environment and adhere to established safety and environmental rules/standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
  • Strong machine troubleshooting skills, welding and fabrication skills, and electrical maintenance knowledge.
  • Proficient in operating power and hand tools used for maintenance tasks.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
