In this role, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing Quality by engaging in ongoing improvement efforts and overseeing the management of Quality standards, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines, ISO standards, and other relevant quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
• Support projects focused on the cost of quality and cost of failure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish core business processes, procedures, and operational instructions.
• Initiate, oversee, and evaluate Corrective Actions to ensure their effectiveness.
• Provide essential support for maintaining ISO certification by acting as an internal auditor and conducting monthly ISO audits.
• Facilitate training and development for team members.
• Lead and assist in Kaizen events, Six Sigma initiatives, and daily operations that bolster manufacturing, engineering, and quality objectives.
• Employ a Six Sigma DMAIC framework to drive performance enhancements and cost savings.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive measures as part of team efforts.
• Support compliance with domestic and international Codes and Standards.
• Gather, monitor, and enhance metrics related to quality performance for both internal and supplier quality challenges, including scrap, rework, and process quality; contribute to annual goal setting and site metric improvements.
• Play a vital role in the New Product Development process, ensuring meticulous attention to process integrity.
Qualifications
• Supervisory and management experience in a manufacturing context is advantageous.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification is mandatory.
• Prior experience with Statistical Process Control and Continuous Improvement methodologies is essential.
• Familiarity with basic Metrology and Calibration practices is required.
• Certification as a Lead Auditor or ISO Auditor is a plus.
