Surgical Pathologist Position in Willamette Valley

Job Summary:
Pacific Pathology Associates, a Sonic Healthcare USA company, is seeking a Full-Time Surgical Pathologist to join our team in the Willamette Valley. We are a dynamic multi-specialty pathology practice located in a cancer center-affiliated medical center, interpreting surgical pathology, cytopathology, and other specimens for 5 hospitals and 225 outpatient offices in 17 cities in the Mid-Willamette Valley Region of Oregon.
Responsibilities:
- Signing out complex surgical pathology cases
- Interpreting surgical pathology, cytopathology, and other specimens
- Collaborating with a team of pathologists and laboratory staff
Requirements:
- Medical degree and license to practice medicine in Oregon
- Board certification or eligibility in anatomic and clinical pathology
- Desirable: experience signing out complex surgical pathology cases, fellowship training in surgical pathology subspecialty, and medical directorship of an outlying laboratory
