Surgical Pathologist Position at Sonic Healthcare

Job Summary:
Pacific Pathology Associates, a Sonic Healthcare USA company, is seeking a Full-Time Surgical Pathologist to join our team in the Willamette Valley. We are a dynamic multi-specialty pathology practice located in a cancer center-affiliated medical center, interpreting surgical pathology, cytopathology, and other specimens for 5 hospitals and 225 outpatient offices in 17 cities in the Mid-Willamette Valley Region of Oregon.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret surgical pathology, cytopathology, and other specimens
• Collaborate with a team of pathologists and laboratory staff
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Medical degree and license to practice medicine in Oregon
• Board certification or eligibility in anatomic and clinical pathology
• Fellowship training in surgical pathology subspecialty desirable
• Special consideration given to GI or GYN training
