Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Los Robles Regional Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the Emergency Department, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred.
  • 2 years of clinical experience in Emergency, required.
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC), required.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), required.
  • Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN), required.
