We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development and Communications Director to join our team at Jobot. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Comprehensive Fundraising Strategies
    • Prospect, cultivate, and secure major gifts from private donors
    • Develop and implement a robust communications strategy to effectively market our organization and its mission to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Provide Leadership and Guidance
    • Lead and manage the development team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with board members, C-suite executives, and other key stakeholders
  • Identify and Capitalize on New Funding Opportunities
    • Work closely with the leadership team to identify new funding opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
    • Oversee the creation and implementation of the development plan, ensuring that all activities align with our organization's strategic goals
  • Monitor and Report on Development Activities
    • Monitor and report on development activities and performance, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a development role within marketing and development in a non-profit, with a proven track record of success in securing major gifts from private donors
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective marketing and communication strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the board of directors and C-suite executives
  • Proficient in the use of CRM systems and other fundraising tools
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Passionate about our organization's mission and committed to making a significant impact
