We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development and Communications Director to join our team at Jobot. Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Comprehensive Fundraising Strategies
- Prospect, cultivate, and secure major gifts from private donors
- Develop and implement a robust communications strategy to effectively market our organization and its mission to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Provide Leadership and Guidance
- Lead and manage the development team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with board members, C-suite executives, and other key stakeholders
- Identify and Capitalize on New Funding Opportunities
- Work closely with the leadership team to identify new funding opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
- Oversee the creation and implementation of the development plan, ensuring that all activities align with our organization's strategic goals
- Monitor and Report on Development Activities
- Monitor and report on development activities and performance, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a development role within marketing and development in a non-profit, with a proven track record of success in securing major gifts from private donors
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective marketing and communication strategies
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the board of directors and C-suite executives
- Proficient in the use of CRM systems and other fundraising tools
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Passionate about our organization's mission and committed to making a significant impact
