About the Opportunity

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Boise VA Medical Center. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing primary care to a panel of patients, primarily through in-person care, with some virtual care on Blue Team at our main facility in Boise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care to a panel of patients, with a patient volume of 12 patients per 8-hour day, two of which are reserved for same-day appointments.
  • Work with six other providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs) in a clinic setting run by a Medical Director and Clinic Manager.
  • Be part of an institution that is a teaching and research facility, with opportunities to advance medical education and drive innovations in basic science research.
