About the Role

The MD, Finance First Line Risk – Treasury position leads the first line risk management program for the Treasury vertical of the Finance organization. Key responsibilities include managing and supporting RCSA execution; developing and monitoring KRIs and metrics at the Board, Management, and First Line Unit level; aligning governance, policy, and procedure across Finance; leading issue identification and management for Treasury-related processes; and serving as liaison with auditors and regulators through examinations.

  • Lead Treasury Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA), including process definition, risk and control identification, and issue identification
  • Develop and lead testing function for key controls
  • Lead Issue Management process for Treasury-related issues (audit, regulatory, self-identified, model risk, data governance, and enterprise risk) and ensure remediation plans are appropriate and timely address related risks and control gaps
  • Develop reporting to Treasury leadership on risk management activities
  • Support KRI/metric development that is in line with regulations and peers
  • Serve as liaison for audits and examinations, and interface with regulators
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10-12+ years of experience in risks in controls function (operational risk management, enterprise risk management, audit/SOX, first line risk management)
  • CPA, CIA, or other similar designation (CFA) a plus
  • Substantial Treasury experience within Banking sector required including Liquidity risk management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Capital Management, and Investment Portfolio and Funding management
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, and communication skills required
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this position is $180,000 USD to $215,000 USD. Actual salary may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation.
