Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Real Estate Finance Portfolio Manager to join our team in Stamford, CT. This role will be responsible for maintaining the high quality of the bank's commercial and retail loan portfolios by identifying deteriorating loan relationships and implementing risk mitigation strategies. The successful candidate will oversee loan portfolio management, monitor ongoing requirements, and ensure compliance with all terms of the loan agreement.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant commercial real estate finance underwriting or portfolio management experience in a bank lending environment. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a wide-ranging knowledge of industry practices. Formal credit training and a master's degree in finance or real estate are highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including CRE underwriting, portfolio management, and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate property types and industry practices
  • Proficiency with MS Office products and ability to research property status
