Role Overview


The Education Facilitator plays a crucial role in educating, motivating, mentoring, and coaching all Future Professionals in their technical and guest service skills. They are responsible for creating exceptional learning experiences in the clinic classroom through objective-based education (O.B.E.), mini classes, and learning centers.

Candidate Profile


The ideal candidate will possess prior educational and salon experience. They should have a genuine passion for educating, motivating, mentoring, and coaching Future Professionals, as well as for inspiring them in all clinic classroom systems.

This position necessitates experience in effective communication, soft skills, professional development, and teamwork.


Essential Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience in instructing at a cosmetology institution.
  • Current cosmetology, barbering, or esthetic instructor license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Exceptional organizational, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investment.
  • Strong work history with verifiable references.
  • A passion for the beauty industry.
  • Integrity and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferred.
