About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at Vetcelerator. As a Veterinarian at Vetcelerator, you will:

  • Perform medical, surgical, and dental procedures to provide high-quality care to our patients.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of animal illnesses and injuries, utilizing our state-of-the-art technology, including a CT scanner, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound.
  • Provide preventative care to improve the overall health of pets, including vaccinations, parasite control, and nutritional counseling.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment options and care plans, ensuring they are informed and empowered to make decisions about their pet's care.
  • Collaborate with a team of veterinary technicians and support staff to provide exceptional care and a supportive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure continuity of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
  • Licensure to practice in New York State.
  • Experience in either General Practice or Urgent Care (new graduates are welcome).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with pet owners and colleagues.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care, with a focus on patient-centered medicine.
