Truss Assembler

At Omni Screenworks Llc, we are seeking a skilled Truss Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production line, you will be responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Position lumber and plates on the assembly line, ensuring accurate alignment within the hardware.
• Set press machine pins as directed by your supervisor.
• Hammer plates into lumber to complete the truss assembly.
• Release assembled trusses from the hardware and stack them on the ground.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area, free from debris and equipment.
• Comply with all employee conduct and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction is required.
• Effective communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform assembly tasks as required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a standard tape measure are necessary.
