Truss Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Truss Assembler to join our team at Omni Screenworks Llc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling roof and/or floor trusses with precision and efficiency.

• Assemble trusses by positioning lumber and plates on the line, ensuring accurate alignment within the hardware.
• Set press machine pins as directed, maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
• Hammer plates into lumber to complete the truss assembly.
• Release assembled trusses from hardware onto racks or stacks on the ground, adhering to quality control standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area, free from debris and equipment.
• Comply with all employee conduct and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

• Prior experience in construction is essential, with a strong understanding of truss assembly and production processes.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to present information and respond to questions from colleagues and supervisors.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with a strong emphasis on physical stamina and endurance.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a standard tape measure are necessary for accurate truss assembly.
