Truss Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Truss Assembler to join our team at Omni Screenworks Llc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling roof and/or floor trusses with precision and efficiency.

• Assemble trusses by positioning lumber and plates on the assembly line, ensuring accurate alignment and secure fastening.
• Operate press machines to set pins and secure truss components.
• Hammer plates into place, ensuring a strong and stable truss structure.
• Release assembled trusses from hardware and stack them on the ground for further processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and company standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet production goals.

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is required.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a standard tape measure are essential for accurate truss assembly.
