We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, answering questions and offering solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
  • Engage customers in our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, promoting loyalty and driving sales.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store recovery efforts, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Support shrink and safety initiatives, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
