We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Training Specialist to join our team at Target. As a Warehouse Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that new team members receive the training and support they need to succeed in their roles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with the Training Operations Manager and Training Specialists to develop and implement training plans for new hires
  • Facilitating Warehouse Worker and Warehouse Associate training, including new hire, core, and specialty training
  • Delivering consistent and standard training to ensure safety is the top priority
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with team members to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Supporting onboarding and retention efforts for new hires and peers
  • Measuring and monitoring progress to ensure proficiency

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for training and development, we encourage you to apply.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to operate power equipment and warehouse technology safely
  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 47 lbs. regularly, and up to 60 lbs. on an infrequent basis
  • Able to move about within and around the site with great frequency
  • Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments

About You:

  • 1+ years of distribution or training experience, with employee training experience preferred
  • Maintains a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
  • Able to comprehend verbal, written, and visual communication
  • Able to accurately use basic math skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Able to handle changing priorities with little notice
