About the Role

Lactalis USA is seeking a highly experienced Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing to join our Procurement team. This hybrid-onsite role will be stationed at one of our Lactalis US HQ offices: Bedford, NH, Buffalo, NY, or Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term purchasing strategies that deliver best-in-class results in the areas of people, processes, costs, and supply.
  • Ensure the implementation and ongoing integrity of purchasing policies, practices, and systems.
  • Collaborate with the global procurement team to develop relationships and networks.
  • Advise direct reports on short-, medium-, and long-term sourcing strategies and ensure progress against project timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage a team of more than two people, including a manager, who may be located at different sites in the USA and Canada.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a global and matrix organization.
  • Ability to ensure that the team's overall focus is consistent with the organization's goals and that the services provided are responsive to the company's needs in the USA and Canada.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills to lead and manage direct reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and implement purchasing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the global procurement team and other stakeholders.
