As a Resident Care Associate - LPN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents, working closely with our Resident Care Director to manage the community's care services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the evaluation of resident needs and the development of service plans to meet their individual needs.
- Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of resident care associates, ensuring that they are providing high-quality care to our residents.
- Evaluate residents' medical concerns and discuss with the ED, family, and MD as appropriate.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with all departments to assist in eliminating problem areas and improving services.
- Participate in community marketing efforts to promote our community and attract new residents.
- Provide support to resident care associates regarding assignment questions or concerns, as well as emergency situations.
- Ensure that all required staffing and schedules are met at all times, including backup coverage for staff.
- Assist the Resident Care Director with all documentation required by LCB Senior Living or state regulations.
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
- At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting and previous health experience in hospital and/or community settings.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of patho-physiological and psychosocial changes associated with the aging process and disabilities.
- Competitive hourly rate of $37-$39 per hour based on years of experience.
