Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Metrowest Medical Center. As a Geriatric Nurse Specialist, you will provide direct clinical patient care to our elderly patients, assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans to ensure the highest quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing comprehensive care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a patient-centered approach to care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license.
  • Experience in geriatric care or a related field, with a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges of elderly patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on patient-centered care and quality outcomes.
