About the RoleWe're seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish language educator to join our team. As a High School Spanish Teacher, you'll be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social-emotional growth. You'll work closely with students, families, and colleagues to ensure that every student has the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to create a collaborative and supportive community
- Use data-driven instruction to drive student learning and growth
- Participate in regular meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and network with colleagues
- Collaborate with coaches and peers to share best practices and build a strong adult culture
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid teaching license/certification or active pathway to acquire one
- Experience working with children, particularly in urban settings, is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Proficiency in working with computers, including commonly used software like Google Documents and Excel
We're committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $50,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including retirement, health, vision, and dental coverage.
