Head of Application Security Architecture

Job Overview:
Fidelity TalentSource LLC is in search of a seasoned Application Architect to become a vital part of the Enterprise Cybersecurity division. This position is centered on crafting innovative strategies for application security tailored for both cloud and hybrid environments, emphasizing static and dynamic application security measures, as well as red team evaluations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assume primary accountability for the design and execution of security architecture across intricate infrastructures and applications.
- Collaborate intimately with product management and engineering teams to devise solutions for pivotal projects.
- Deliver strategic roadmaps and provide guidance to partner teams within the Enterprise Cybersecurity sector and various business units.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical leadership or architectural role focused on developing enterprise web applications.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven track record of mentoring, influencing, and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of threats and vulnerabilities associated with web, API, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with cloud architectures, security technologies, and CI/CD methodologies.
Required Expertise:
- Proficiency in secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application threat modeling, and risk evaluation.
- Hands-on experience in application security architecture and design principles.
- Familiarity with common software design patterns, methodologies, and processes.
- Expertise in Application Security Testing, DevSecOps, and addressing complex technological challenges.
Key Duties:
- Shape the vision and strategy for application security architecture.
- Promote the adoption of enterprise-wide practices and standard methodologies.
- Create comprehensive documentation for strategic security architecture initiatives.
- Engage in solution architecture design and spearhead security efforts.
