Job Overview:

Fidelity TalentSource LLC is in search of a seasoned Application Architect to become a vital part of the Enterprise Cybersecurity organization (ECS). This position emphasizes the development of pioneering solutions in application security tailored for cloud and hybrid environments, encompassing both static and dynamic application security, as well as red team evaluations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assume primary accountability for the creation and execution of security architecture for intricate infrastructures and applications.
  • Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to devise solutions for essential projects.
  • Offer strategic roadmaps and guidance to partner teams within ECS and various business units.

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical lead or architectural role focused on enterprise web applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a talent for mentoring, influencing, and collaborating with teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of threats and vulnerabilities affecting web, API, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience with cloud architectures, security technologies, CI/CD methodologies, and related areas.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), application threat modeling, and risk evaluation.
  • Practical experience in application security architecture and design.
  • Familiarity with common software design patterns, methodologies, and processes.
  • Expertise in Application Security Testing, DevSecOps, and addressing complex technological challenges.

Key Duties:

  • Shape the vision and strategy for application security architecture.
  • Promote the adoption of enterprise practices and standard methodologies.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for strategic security architecture.
  • Engage in solution architecture design and spearhead security initiatives.
