We are seeking a skilled Personal Assistant Specialist to join our team at The Arc Eastern Connecticut. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide critical support and care to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, empowering them to live independently and achieve their goals.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote skills development and independence.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and household chores.
  • Facilitate community involvement and accompany participants on outings.

Responsibilities:
  • Transportation to recreational and community activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
