Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Stop and Shop. This role involves performing daily physical inventory adjustments, providing accurate information to Accounts Payable, and resolving lost inventory issues.

The ideal candidate will have 1 1/2 - 2 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and excellent numerical skills. The successful applicant must also be proficient in Microsoft computer applications and have basic Word and Excel skills.

This is a full-time position that requires overtime and weekend work. The starting salary for this role is $55,000 per annum, based on location in Assonet, MA.

  • Perform daily physical inventory adjustments
  • Provide accurate information to Accounts Payable
  • Resolve lost inventory issues
  • Work with Quality Control to maintain product integrity
  • Assist with maintaining inventory control reports
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 1/2 - 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Basic Word and Excel skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications
