Administrative Supply Chain Specialist

The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics operations, with experience in utilizing automated systems to schedule and track repairs or work requests, maintaining supply logs or production control records, and conducting inventory of supplies, tools, or parts.
This position may offer a $5,000 recruitment bonus (see Additional Information Section). Our team provides support to the 99th Regional Support Command (RSC), Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) 163 located in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily reports to monitor shop equipment database.
- Spearhead formal and informal training to the organization.
- Maintain accountability of administrative actions.
- Review inventory of supply operations for discrepancies.
- Organize shop tools to distribute appropriately to employees.
Qualifications:
- One year of specialized experience which includes 1) utilizing automated systems to schedule and track repairs or work requests; 2) maintaining supply logs or production control records; and 3) conducting inventory of supplies, tools, or parts.
- You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management, Inventory Management, Problem Solving, and Supply Planning.
- Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings.
