About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Driver to join our team at Beacon Roofing. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our products to customers across the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to customers, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pre-Inspection and Loading: Pre-inspect the vehicle, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communication and Safety: Maintain regular communication with dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of products and ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Site Inspection and Setup: Inspect the site to ensure a safe environment to load and unload products, and set up job parameters as needed.
Requirements
  • Age and License: Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid Class A/B CDL license in good standing with 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to repeatedly lift 75+ pounds and work comfortably in all weather conditions.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment, with a strong commitment to safety and adaptability.
