Job Title: Behavioral Health Therapist QMHP

Friends of the Children – Lane County is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist QMHP to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based therapeutic services to children and families in Lane County.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Therapist QMHP will work under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Supervisor and Program Director to provide clinical services, including assessments, treatment plans, and case management. You will also be responsible for collaborating with local agencies and organizations to ensure compliance with Medicaid rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to children and families
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with local agencies and organizations to ensure compliance with Medicaid rules and regulations
  • Supervise and manage clinical documentation systems for all providers
  • Monitor licensure/certification requirements and oversee clinical practice
  • Build relationships with children, families, teachers, and other community members
Requirements:
  • QMHP credential and two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass driver's check
  • Interest in continuing education focused on youth and family-based services
  • Interest in collaboration, community building, and providing a meaningful service to families
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a management level position for a year or more
  • Experience working with youth and families
