About the Position

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Software Development Engineer to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing complex systems using C/C++ and Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance software applications for complex systems and applications
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features, ensuring system integration and scalability
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and efficiency in complex environments

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Proven experience in developing complex systems and applications using C/C++, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Experience in embedded systems, real-time systems, or large-scale applications
