Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehensive coffee knowledge and superior brewing techniques.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Deliver friendly and personalized service to every customer.
• Quickly dial-in espresso on a daily basis to maintain quality.
• Skillfully steam milk and create latte art for all espresso beverages.
• Prepare batch brew coffee consistently throughout the day.
• Uphold beverage service standards, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Regularly taste and evaluate both drip coffee and espresso to ensure quality standards are met.
• Build rapport with customers by remembering their names and favorite drinks.
• Encourage a culture of openness and collaboration among colleagues.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by promoting co-worker satisfaction.
• Practice self-awareness regarding personal strengths and areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about our rotating coffee menu and member brands.
• Gain insights into the roasting and green coffee procurement processes.

• Regularly cup and taste coffee to maintain familiarity with our offerings.
• Represent our café at local coffee events and gatherings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists to operate machinery.
• Ability to detect and perceive the aroma of coffee.
• Frequent communication with customers and team members.
• Lift weights up to 50 pounds occasionally.
