The ideal candidate will possess strong surveying skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for improving quality of care in healthcare facilities.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor to join our team. As a surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough site visits, evaluating facility operations, and providing recommendations for improvement. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT certification, as well as experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve residents of long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct site visits to evaluate facility operations and identify areas for improvement
* Develop and implement effective survey strategies to ensure thorough and accurate assessments
* Collaborate with facility staff to gather information and provide recommendations for improvement
* Maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian and adhere to all relevant regulations
* Develop and maintain relationships with facility administrators and staff to ensure successful survey processes
* Travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis

Requirements:

* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dietetics
* CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT certification
* At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve residents of long-term care facilities
* Current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced environment
