Quality Assurance Specialist

Clarios is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Middletown, Delaware. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing continuous improvement and process control procedures to achieve quality specifications for products and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Investigate and determine root cause of product nonconformance and implement corrective actions.
• Develop criteria for acceptable quality levels of purchased supplies and materials, including coordination with key vendors to maintain certification.
• Interface and engage with internal customers and suppliers, including tracking and reporting of quality metrics.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, product, and process engineering teams to ensure compliance and safety of product and process designs.
• Conduct FMEA, PFMEA, and Capability Studies to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and previous manufacturing experience required.
• 2+ years minimum experience in quality assurance or related field.
• Previous experience in ISO9001/IATF16949 environment preferred.
• Project management experience a plus.
