Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Clear the construction site from any waste, debris, or dangerous materials before starting work.
  • Material Organization: Arrange and stack all essential building materials and tools for easy access throughout the project.
  • Onsite Assistance: Assist onsite workers as needed to ensure the successful completion of all tasks.
  • Health and Safety: Strictly follow all health and safety regulations on-site to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Clean-up: Ensure a thorough clean-up of materials, tools, and debris at the project's end to uphold a neat work area.
  • Carpentry Tasks: Build door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitions. Inspect, maintain and repair structures. Measure, cut, shape, and smooth carpentry materials. Check existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirements.
  • Roofing and Flooring: Ensure roofing, floorings, and drywall are compatible and level.
Qualifications
  • Painting: Skilled in using rollers and brushes for painting tasks.
  • Drywall: Proficient in hanging drywall with precision.
  • Texture Matching: Capable of matching textures effectively.
  • Light Carpentry: Experienced in light carpentry work like installing baseboards, door trims, and cabinets.
  • Tools and Materials: Deep knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift objects weighing up to 60 lbs. Great physical condition and dexterity.
  • Education: We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED. Candidate must have successfully completed a carpentry apprenticeship.
