Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Director, AI/ML Emerging Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading logic and digital design, as well as the development of processors (CPU, GPU, NPU, AI accelerators).

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a design team to develop next-generation AI accelerator technologies. This will involve investigating and integrating cutting-edge technologies, such as Compute-In-memory and advanced memory and processing technologies, to enhance AI inference performance and efficiency.

The candidate will work closely with our Architecture, Software, and Solution teams to ensure the successful implementation of new architectures for improved throughput, reduced latency, and enhanced energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development team to ensure high-performance, low-power consumption, and scalability.
  • Investigate and integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance AI inference performance and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with Architecture, Software, and Solution teams.
  • Lead the exploration and implementation of new architectures for improved throughput, reduced latency, and enhanced energy efficiency.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers as required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in managing and leading an engineering team.
  • Foundation in SOC micro-architecture and design with experience in one or more of the following: CPU/GPU, AI/ML Accelerator IPs.
  • Demonstrated experience in building power-efficient SOCs.
  • Proven ability to integrate emerging technologies into existing systems to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Good understanding of low-power system architecture and micro-architecture.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently drive tasks to completion.

Estimated Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Location: San Jose, CA or Bellevue, WA.
