  • Production Planning and Control:
    • Develop and implement strategies to meet customer requirements within material availability and capacity constraints.
    • Ensure timely response to demand fluctuations while optimizing stock levels and material availability for purchased parts.
    • Provide guidance and coaching to ensure production orders are released and sequenced effectively.
  • Material Management:
    • Manage direct material planning and buying processes to ensure timely acquisition of materials at optimal costs.
    • Leverage SAP R/3 for effective material forecasting, purchasing, and inventory management.
  • Strategic Planning and Communication:
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify and proactively address potential constraints that may impact customer lead times.
    • Analyze production data and provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement plans to overcome bottlenecks and maintain smooth production flow.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) roles with a strong emphasis on direct material planning and buying.
  • Proven expertise in SAP R/3, with a strong understanding of APO PP DS (Advance planning optimize in Production planning & demand supply).
  • Experience with SAP HAHA is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning principles, material management practices, and procurement strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to managing fluctuating demands and maintaining production flow.
  • APICS certification a plus
