Position Overview

DTS is seeking a skilled Vulnerability Engineer/Analyst to support our Vulnerability Management team. This role involves critical tasks related to the identification and mitigation of security vulnerabilities across various systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and execute comprehensive vulnerability scans using advanced scanning tools for complex devices.
  • Ensure that scanning processes are conducted safely and efficiently, minimizing impact on operational targets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to vulnerability scans.
  • Conduct internal audits of servers, network devices, applications, and other systems to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing detailed insights into remediation efforts.
  • Integrate vulnerability management data with other enterprise services to enhance overall security posture.
  • Perform data analysis on vulnerability management information, utilizing large datasets that include structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Engage with other agencies to recommend improvements in security measures and reduce vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct trend analysis and develop dashboards using data scripting to present metrics on security performance and controls.
  • Prepare reports for management based on collected metrics across multiple agencies.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Security.
  • Proficiency with vulnerability management scanning and reporting tools.
  • Experience in trend analysis and dashboard creation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
