Position Overview

DTS is seeking a seasoned Vulnerability Engineer/Analyst to contribute to our Vulnerability Management team. This role is essential for ensuring the security of our systems and applications through effective vulnerability assessments and management.

Key Qualifications:
  • Over 5 years of experience in IT Security.
  • Proficient in vulnerability management scanning and reporting tools.
  • Skilled in trend analysis and developing dashboards utilizing data scripting for performance metrics.
  • Ability to operate independently and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will undertake various responsibilities including:
  • Planning, scheduling, and executing scalable vulnerability scans using advanced management tools for complex devices.
  • Ensuring safe and timely scans with minimal impact on targets while troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Supporting vulnerability management tools and conducting internal audits of servers, network devices, and applications.
  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors to provide comprehensive information on remediation efforts.
  • Integrating vulnerability management data with other enterprise services.
  • Performing data analysis on vulnerability data, often combined with other data sources, to evaluate the effectiveness of remediation efforts.
  • Engaging with other agencies to recommend enhancements to security posture and reduction of vulnerabilities.
  • Conducting trend analysis and creating dashboards with data scripting to present performance metrics and generating new reports for management.
