Job Description

Digital Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect our clients' sensitive information.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide expert recommendations to mitigate potential threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures into our operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies to ensure our clients' security posture remains robust.
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance regulations, including NIST SP800-53 Rev 4 & 5, CJIS Security Policy, The Privacy Act of 1974, HIPAA, and FERPA.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of audit responses to changes in risk ratings and provide expert input on risk management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Secure Application Development Lifecycle (SADLC) and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity-related job functions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity or a related field is highly preferred, with cybersecurity certifications being a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of information technology systems and services, including virtualization, containerization, cloud hosting operations, and more.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
