Position Overview

Regulatory DataCorp, Inc. is seeking a skilled Automation Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our Quality Control division.

In this role, you will engage in various stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial planning through to post-deployment evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate testing strategies and scenarios for both new and existing software products.
  • Assist in the development of an automated testing framework while also improving and maintaining current automated tests.
  • Create new test cases and comprehensive test plans for a variety of applications.
  • Record software defects and actively monitor their resolution progress.
  • Participate in regular software releases to verify new functionalities and detect regressions.
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of RDC applications to assess how modifications affect our clients.
  • Organize testing schedules and strategies in alignment with project scopes and delivery timelines.
Maintain records of known testing defects.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA position with a focus on automation, ideally within a SaaS context.
  • Proficient in automating tests using frameworks such as Selenium and Katalon.
  • Experience in designing test cases and plans for web applications and APIs (REST; Soap).
  • Familiarity with defect and issue tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Comfortable with Continuous Integration systems such as Bamboo and Jenkins.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of Java and JavaScript is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based systems, particularly AWS.
