The Montrose Center is seeking a highly skilled Eligibility Associate to join our team. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be the initial point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all.
Key Responsibilities- Client Eligibility Verification: Verify client eligibility documentation for all programs, conducting thorough interviews to ensure accurate information.
- Front Desk Operations: Provide friendly and client-centered customer service, greeting new clients and visitors, and signing in all visitors while issuing a visitor's badge.
- Phone and In-Person Support: Answer the Gay & Lesbian Switchboard line, responding to callers' needs for referral or crisis intervention, and documenting all information on referral and crisis calls.
- Message Relay and Screening: Serve as the first point of contact for phone and in-person visitors, relaying messages between callers, visitors, and staff, and screening calls and visitors to provide information about the Center's services and referrals.
- Client Registration and Database Management: Register new clients and update reopened clients in our electronic client database.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of office practices, including computers and office software.
- Fluent written and verbal Spanish language skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.
