Job Overview

This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with all Company, State/Federal and Client safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience as an individual contributor in construction or industrial fabrication facilities and possess advanced knowledge of federal state, local and company safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Program Administration: Assist in the overall supervision and administration of project safety programs to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Conduct field audits to ensure compliance with all company, client and OSHA regulations.
  • Training and Development: Schedule and conduct training for supervision and field employees on new hire orientations, C-STOP Plus, Basic Plus, S.T.A.R.T., etc.
  • Accident Investigations: Participate in accident/incident investigations to determine Root-Causes and development of Corrective Action Plans.
  • Confined Space Entry and Hazardous Materials Management: Conduct confined space entry and air-sampling tests, issue permits as required and document all incidents.
  • Coordination with Stakeholders: Work with HSE Director, Business Unit HSE Manager, and Project Manager to develop Project Safety Goals and Written Safety Action Plan.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational/environmental safety and health management or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • 5+ years of safety experience as an individual contributor in construction or industrial fabrication facility or equivalent background, plus 1 - 3 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures essential.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills also required.

Salary and Location

The estimated salary for this position is $99,407 to $149,110 per year, based on location and qualifications. Full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision plans covering eligible employees and dependents.
