About the Job

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Orange, California.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to work with adult neurologic and orthopedic populations, including hand therapy patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the direction of the Rehabilitation Services team.
  • Initiate discharge planning for occupational therapy and coordinate treatment programs with other healthcare personnel as needed.
  • Document patient management accurately and timely.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and certification in occupational therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
  • Hold a National Provider Identifier and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Have a current CA Occupational Therapy License or license eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
